After the 3rd Global: Dr. Rene Lacsina talks about alternative clean fuel technology
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008North Central Mindanao, starting with Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental, is where a tribal community has offered Abundant Biofuels and Abundant Biofuels Philippines, Inc. a ground-breaking opportunity to develop over a million hectares of non-food crop land that is located in deforested areas. As a largely labor-intensive endeavor which will give a lot of employment to the tribal community, a share of the profits will also go to this tribal community which will fund their infrastructure projects.
The Education Forum group from Salinas and Monterey, California at the 3rd Global Filipino Networking Convention had brought these tribal leaders to meet with them. Dado Banatao was one of the resource speakers. Present at the forum was the president of a local community college in Monterey County, Hartnell College, at the 3rd Global. The convenor: Rodel Rodis (aka the “Father” of the Global Filipino Networking Convention concept).
Dr. Rene Lacsina, the President and CEO of Abundant Biofuels Philippines, is also the Vice President and Chief Agronomist of Abundant Biofuels.
